Being a member of a prayer group means you want to take an active part in establishing the Kingdom of God here on earth. It is an exciting and rewarding position to be in. As you take part in these kingdom-building activities, keep in mind these things. They will make your experience ever better as you seek God’s face for his will on earth.

As a prayer group member:
 - plan ahead so you can arrive on time and be relaxed
 - begin with expentancy, trusting that God always has a perfect plan for you
 - remember God is present, and focus your thoughts on him
 - trust and understand that your group has been called together by Divine Appointment
 - anticipate various forms of sharing and praying
 - listen with your heart
 - commit to keeping all sharing confidential -- this is a sacred trust and vital for the confidence of others
 - enjoy of freedom of praying aloud or silently
 - don’t monopolize or dominate
 - avoid arguing, diagnosing, problem solving or teaching
 - avoid talking about denominations and doctrines
