The Claremont is a historical landmark resort hotel on the shore of Somes Sound in the village of Southwest Harbor on Mount Desert Island, with a satisfying view of ocean and mountains. There are 50 rooms (suites, doubles and singles, with bath or connecting bath) plus a comfortable annex and several cottages. All bedrooms are heated. Note: There are no special activities for children.  Facility is not wheelchair accessible.
